A Closer Look
This project is an addition and renovation to the Baylor Grapevine Hospital. The project includes a new 149,000-square-foot, four-story patient tower with more than 22,000 square feet of new radiology department space as well as more than 20,200 square feet of cardiology department space on Level 1. Level 2 includes more than 20,000-square-feet of Neo-natal intensive care space and more than 14,000-square-feet of shell space for 20 potential patient rooms. Level 3 houses more than 34,000-square-feet for approximately 40 patient bedrooms, and the fourth floor is available to host the same amount of square feet as the shell space for an additional 40 rooms.
The existing hospital renovation includes a total of 114,000-square-feet. The Endoscopy Department, the pharmacy, and the dietary/kitchen spaces are being completely renovated. Also included in the renovation is 40,000-square-feet of surgery spaces, comprised of two new and ten existing operating rooms, and more than 7,000-square-feet of an expanded Emergency Department, and 8,800-square-feet of Materials Management.
